| Celebrate 150 Years of ND Law
Faculty, staff, and alumni are invited to a reception celebrating Notre Dame Law School's sesquicentennial from 6–8 p.m. on Friday, September 27, in the Dahnke Ballroom in Duncan Student Center. A program introducing Dean Marcus Cole to alumni will start at 6:45 p.m.
There is no cost to attend the reception, but registration is required.

The reception is part of the Law School's Homecoming Weekend, which is the weekend that the Fighting Irish host Virginia.
Faculty and staff can also attend the Homecoming Tailgate for free by registering with the code "NDFacStaff" and entering your nd.edu email as the confirmation email address. The space where you enter the code is at the bottom of the "Shopping Cart" screen that appears after you enter your name and the names of any family members attending the tailgate. Make sure you click on the "Apply" button after you enter the code! |

| Notre Dame Law School: A Catholic Law School in America |
Saturday, October 12, 10:00 a.m.,1130 Eck Hall of Law
Founded in 1869, Notre Dame Law School is the oldest law school at a Catholic university in the United States. What has it meant to be a Catholic law school in America? Professor Emeritus Walter F. Pratt Jr., a noted legal historian, will discuss that question in a presentation about ND Law's history.
There is no cost to attend, and all are welcome.

Roger Alford returns to ND Law after serving DOJ’s Antitrust Division
Roger is back at the Law School after a two-year appointment with the U.S. Department of Justice. He managed the Antitrust Division’s international work, developing policy and promoting enforcement of antitrust laws around the world. Read more here.

Program on Private Law hosts Legal Ethics and Fiduciaries Workshop in Ireland
Timely and thought-leading research on fiduciary principles and philosophical legal ethics were the central themes for a roundtable held in June at Notre Dame’s Kylemore Abbey Global Centre in Connemara, Ireland. Read more here.
