Mary Ellen O'Connell to speak at Brookings Institution
Mary Ellen O’Connell will deliver the keynote lecture for the fifth annual Justice Stephen Breyer Lecture on International Law in April in Washington, D.C. Read more here.
Mary Ellen was also recently quoted in the Daily Beast and contributed a chapter on sources and the legality and validity of international law in The Oxford Handbook of the Sources of International Law.

ND Law student wins prestigious National Lawyers Guildfellowship
Walter Jean-Jacques, 1L, has been named a 2018 Haywood Burns Fellow by the National Lawyers Guild. He will also be interning for the NAACP this summer.

Father Mike Show heads for 30th year of fundraising
The Father Mike Variety Show, named for the late Law School Professor Rev. Michael D. McCafferty, C.S.C., returns for its 30th anniversary March 27 at Legends. Read about the show's history here.
