Condolences to Chris O'Byrne
Chris O'Byrne has returned to the library after spending part of the summer and fall on FMLA leave to provide end of life care for his mother, Barbara, at his home where she had resided since May 2019. Chris is appreciative of the prayers and support of the Law School community and the Center for Hospice. Barbara passed peacefully on the morning of October 1 with Chris at her side. She enjoyed many in-person and video visits from friends, family and clergy in the preceding weeks. A private local service was held and the extended O'Byrne family look forward to a larger gathering in Barbara's memory in Washington state during the Spring of 2022.
