Lloyd Mayer writes for the Conversation

Convention on Founding Principles

Jimmy Gurulé will speak at this week's Convention on Founding Principles. He will serve on a panel discussion, "Character Counts," with other officials who served in the George W. Bush administration.

Program on Church, State & Society 2020 fellows share summer experiences

Three Notre Dame Law students learned valuable skills in the area of religious-institutions practice this summer through fellowships with the Program on Church, State & Society. Read more about the students and their experiences here.

Dan will speak on his research regarding eminent domain, specifically how large corporations, such as Walt Disney World, use eminent domain to acquire large areas of land.

Thursday, August 27
The Future of Privacy, from Ireland to America, 12:00-3:00 p.m., register here.
Held in partnership with Twitter, this event explores privacy law in Ireland, its implementation in Dublin, and the effects on U.S. tech companies, Mark McKenna will moderate the discussion.

MINDful Training, 12:30 p.m., 3130 Eck and via Zoom
This event will be a training conducted by the Assistant Director of Diversity Education, Outreach and Assessment of the Multicultural Student Programs and Services at Notre Dame. The goal is to train participants to recognize, understand, and avoid microaggression and language with racist connotations.

The Notre Dame Alumni Association is seeking nominations for the 2020 Domer Dozen, a program honoring young alumni for their significant contributions and dedication to faith, service, learning and work.
