Center for Civic Innovation coordinates remote assistance for low-income taxpayers amid coronavirus

The Notre Dame Tax Clinic coordinated with other campus and community resources to provide assistance or referrals to more than 150 local low-income taxpayers. Read more here.

Welcome New Faculty


Associate Professor Stephanie Barclay is a First Amendment scholar, with a particular interest in religious freedom. She joins the Law School from BYU J. Reuben Clark Law School where she was twice voted Professor of the Year. Before becoming a professor, Stephanie litigated First Amendment cases at The Becket Fund for Religious Liberty. Stephanie's office is 3120 Eck Hall of Law.

Assistant Professor Maria Maciá is a law and economics scholar, with an interest in empirical analysis of law. She joined the Law School last year as a visiting assistant professor. She previously served as a law clerk to Judge Andrew Hurwitz on the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit. Maria's office is 3158 Eck Hall of Law.

Visiting Assistant Professor Alex Yelderman joins the Law School after serving as a senior staff attorney with the Human Trafficking Legal Center in Washington, D.C. Alex has scholarly interests in Intellectual Property and human dignity. Her office is 2141 Eck Hall of Law.

The J.J. Clynes Endowed Visiting Professor the Honorable Meg Ryan is a senior judge on the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Armed Forces. She will teach Evidence, Military Law, and Constitutional Issues in the Military Justice System. Judge Ryan will be located in 3131 Eck Hall of Law.

The Notre Dame Alumni Association is seeking nominations for the 2020 Domer Dozen, a program honoring young alumni for their significant contributions and dedication to faith, service, learning and work.

Candidates can be undergraduate, graduate ,or professional alumni of the University. If you know a young alum who would make a strong candidate please consider nominating them here. Nominations are due by August 31. More information can be found here.
