Law grads hiring report: Job stats for the class of 2019
ND Law moved up significantly to No. 7 in Law.com's list for placing graduates in federal clerkships, according to American Bar Association data for the Class of 2019. Read more here (subscriber access only).

Peter Lardy's second life: Class of 1975's scholarship continues to make ND Law a kinder place
The Lardy Scholarship Award was established by the Class of 1975 to honor classmate Peter A.R. Lardy, who died of cancer during his third year of law school. Read more about the history of the award here.

Class of 2020 top academic awards
Tim Bradley has received the Col. William J. Hoynes Award – the Law School’s highest honor. The award is named after Notre Dame Law School’s first dean and is given to a member of the graduating class for outstanding scholarship, application, deportment, and achievement.
Elizabeth Lombard has received the Dean Joseph O’Meara Award. The award, established by the Class of 1964, is presented annually to a member of the graduating class for outstanding academic achievement.
Peter Jenka has received the Farabaugh Prize. This award for high scholarship in law was established by Gallitzin A. Farabaugh, a South Bend attorney.

ND Law recognized for donations to March Against Hunger
Katelyn Doering, a rising 2L, donated to the 2020 March Against Hunger and shared the donation link with her classmates. The class's donations led to the Law School being named the winner in March Against Hunger’s public/nonprofit/local bar/law school category. Read more here.

In a new book chapter in Christianity and Global Law Mary Ellen O'Connor examines Christianity's influence on the law of peace, reintroducing that influence to curtail today's permissive legal interpretations justifying war.

Important Parking Permit Registration Update
University parking permits for faculty and staff members will be extended through June 30, 2021. As a result, registration for new permits (hang-tags) will not be required for the 2020-2021 academic year. Please retain your current parking permits and display as normal.
