ND Lawyer clubs honor Nell
On June 12, the Notre Dame Lawyers of New York City hosted its annual event which served as a farewell to Dean Newton. About 160 Notre Dame lawyers, current students, and admitted students gathered to hear Chris Stewart, '09, '15 JD, a former Notre Dame football player and attorney at White & Case LLP, entertain the crowd with his heartfelt story about how Dean Newton supported him as he fulfilled his dream to play football while earning a law degree from Notre Dame. Several attendees also participated in a CLE, "Religious Freedom and the Ethics of Public Life," presented by Rick Garnett. See photos from the event here.
On June 27, 220 Notre Dame Lawyers, current students, and incoming students gathered in Chicago to honor Dean Newton for her 10 years as dean. The reception included cocktails, great food, and lots of laughs! See photos from the event here.

Professor Peg Brinig receives lifetime achievement award in family law
