Handy tools & tips for managing dry conditions

Useful resources: Following on from the well-received Sheep health and welfare in dry conditions workshops run by Sheep Connect Tasmania, Livestock Biosecurity Network and Zoetis in Campbell Town, Swansea and Bothwell two weeks ago, we've put together a collection of the best resources to assist managing dry conditions:
  • John Francis' (Holmes Sackett) presentations from the workshops
  • links to rainfall, soil moisture and pasture growth online tools
  • guides on feed budgeting, which sheep to keep, managing sheep in feedlots, fodder prices, stock water, and native pastures.
