Speak Up for Action
on Climate Change

The Maryland Department of the Environment and the Maryland Commission on Climate Change held public meetings to present Maryland’s progress on the Greenhouse Gas Reduction Act, our state's road map for reducing carbon pollution that causes climate change. MDE and the commission will take comments about the future of this law, which expires in 2016. Let's make sure the plan is renewed and strengthened during the next legislative session.

Let the commission and MDE know that fracking for shale gas is not the solution and comes with a host of health and environmental hazards.

Stop fracked gas exports from Maryland

We can't let Dominion start liquefying and exporting fracked gas. Construction has begun, but we can stop this monstrosity that will bring chaos to local communities and to the planet's climate system. Please donate to We Are Cove Point to support powerful actions designed to end this project. Don't wait until it's too late. No amount is too small (or too large).
