Don't Frack Maryland Rally in Annapolis
Tuesday, March 3
noon - 1 p.m.
Lawyers Mall, State Circle

Rally to protect our health and communities from fracking. Clear your calendar. Be there. Let's keep fracking out of Maryland.

After the rally, the Senate committee hearing begins at 1 p.m. for the long-term fracking moratorium bill, SB409
The hearing for House of Delegates' version, HB 449, is Wednesday, March 11 at 1 p.m.

Show elected officials that Maryland residents strongly oppose fracking and that we want our leaders to protect public health and our air, water and land.

A bill must first be voted out of its originating committee. If you live in District 9, please urge Delegate Flanagan (District 9B) on the key House Environment and Transportation Committee and Sen. Bates on the key Senate Education, Health and Environmental Affairs Committee to support the long-term moratorium bills. Please contact them.

All members of District 13's delegation have signed on as bill co-sponsors for the moratorium: Sen. Guy Guzzone and Delegates Shane Pendergrass, Frank Turner and Vanessa Atterbeary. Also supporting the moratorium are District 12 Delegates Clarence Lam, Terri Hill and Eric Ebersole. Please thank them.
