Services

All services are in person, with the exception of Saturday evening’s Ma’ariv and Havdalah, which remain on Zoom. All services are accessible through Zoom. 

Please be aware of our new vaccination policy, and how to submit your vaccination card.

Regular Services:
Mornings
Sundays and Weekdays
Shaharit
9:00 am Sunday
7:30 am Monday through Friday.

Evenings
Evening services are at 6 p.m.
Sunday through Friday.
Services include Minha and Ma'ariv.

All services include the Mourner's Kaddish.

Shabbat
9:30 am Saturday
Saturday evening, at the conclusion of Shabbat (time moves weekly): Ma'ariv and Havdalah

If using Zoom on your computer is not possible, you can join our services by phone by dialing 312-626-6799. Once connected, dial the meeting ID # 807 570 5727. Ignore the prompt to enter your Participant ID -- you don't need one. When prompted for the password, press / dial 330742#.

Rabbi Alter is Traveling

Rabbi Alter will be away from shul Monday July 18 through Monday July 25. Hazzan Stein will be present over those days with additional clergy available. Rabbi Alter will have limited availability by email and phone for urgent matters.

Calling All Volunteers!

The Chesed Committee has been busy providing meals to congregants for life events. Whether it is a MealTrain for a family with a new baby, a few meals after a surgery, or a meal of condolence, Chesed Committee is there to help.

If you're interested in helping support our kehillah by providing an occasional meal, let us know so we can add you to our mailing list. We use the list to send out meal requests that need to be filled, as well as other Chesed volunteer opportunities as they arise. All levels of involvement are welcome. It can be as simple as occasionally doubling what you're cooking for dinner and delivering it. If you'd like to help, please email Alana Platt at alanaplatt@msn.com.

The Weekly Torah Portion and More from JTS


JTS in New York has been circulating a weekly Torah commentary for decades. Each week's teaching is by a different teacher or scholar. The commentaries are learned but accessible and come from a diversity of voices. They are available in multiple formats.

The weekly Torah commentary is part of JTS's extraordinary site for Jewish community learning, covering a huge range of subject matter, including lectures and courses one can sign up for.
