Concerto

In case you missed picking up your copy of Concerto at the last two concerts, you can download it, or pop in at the orchestra office or Dial-A-Seat and collect your own copy.

Izak Grové programme notes

So many positive responses have come to our attention that we have decided to continue having musicologist Izak Grové write notes to augment the concert programme notes so well done by Rodney Trudgeon. We will send a reminder at the start of the new season to those whose emails are on record for having bought tickets to the first concert. If you would like your email to be recorded, please let Dial-A-Seat have it. Several are incorrect so it would be good for you to check your emails with them.

Season's Greetings

The Board, management and musicians of the CPO would like to wish all its supporters a wonderful holiday season,  a happy and safe New Year and health and prosperity. To those who celebrate, Merry Christmas!

Thanks from the Breakfast Club

We were delighted to host more young children to a rehearsal in the last season and here’s what they thought:
On behalf of The Breakfast Club I do not know how to thank you enough for your generosity in allowing our 36 little helpers and our adult volunteers the privilege of coming to the rehearsal today. The soloist was magnificent, as were the musicians  and conductor. (Trumpeter) Pierre Schuster was so kind in showing us around and giving us a tutorial on the orchestra and taking us to the back of the stage so we could learn about the various instruments. The kids were beaming from ear to ear.
