11:00am Saturday 01.04.23 @ 4 Seamount, Salthill, Galway, H91 P20F (Tickets here

The AAI, in association with Architecture at the Edge, is delighted to host a site-visit to Seamount, Salthill, Co.Galway by Aughey O'Flaherty Architects.

Description from the Architects:

This new house is situated at the end of a 1970’s estate overlooking the Prom in Salthill, Galway. It replaces a 1970’s stock plan house and its layout and form are all about enjoying the favourable orientation and views of Galway Bay. On the ground floor, a series of broken plan living spaces connect and frame the views. First floor spaces enjoy the underside of the up and down pitched roof and are laid out off a top-lit hallway.

Aughey O'Flaherty Architects is a design led practice that is committed to excellence in architecture. The practice was established in 1999 and has developed a reputation for creating beautifully crafted buildings. The practice has won a number of significant architectural awards, are registered members of the R.I.A.I. and has conservation accreditation Grade II.
