Meet the Man Behind the Blue-Blazed Hiking Trail System

Learn about our trails from the man and organization at the forefront of maintaining them. Connecticut Forest & Park Association's executive director Eric Hammerling will talk about the work they do to protect forest land and make it available for passive recreation. Eric will also share the history of some of the area's most well known trails.

 
 The program will follow the BLT Annual Meeting, which will summarize the past year including an update on the 105-acre purchase on Taine Mountain.
 
Cheese & crackers, dessert, tea, coffee and soft drinks will be offered.
