Seniors Festival 2021 - that's a wrap!

The 2021 Seniors Festival took place on the 13 – 24 April 2021.  This year was like no year we have seen before. Planning and more planning went into this event to ensure it could go ahead safely in COVID-19 times.

This year’s Seniors Festival, sponsored by Wingecarribee Shire Council, NSW Government, and Macarthur Disability Services was a hugely successful event for many reasons as there were multiple changes and additions to the programme.

There was a total of 76 events, including community run events (with 25 events run directly by Council). Online individual bookings were up by nearly 50% from 2020!

We have been busy finalising all the events to bring you the final review, of another successful Seniors Festival - what we need now is to hear from you!

Even if you didn't attend, we would love to hear from you!

Wingecarribee Shire Council (WSC) is excited to be running this Community awareness campaign.  This campaign is designed to support, promote and create awareness of our community members across the Shire in Aged and Disability sectors.

The aim of the campaign is to profile local services, staff and individuals each month to showcase the skills, services and stories of our residents. We are inviting any Aged and Disability services or organisations who are in WSC that support members of our community to submit an Expression of Interest (EOI).
