Fertility Awareness with CWHC

Fertility Awareness is an empowering tool for learning about the body, understanding hormones, and preventing or achieving pregnancy.

Join CWHC to learn about the menstrual cycle and basic female anatomy and physiology, and gain knowledge about the Fertility Awareness method of birth control along the way.

Collective Voices, Shared Journeys Quilting Circle

Since 2008, 118 people have been fatally shot by the Chicago Police.

Gone But Not Forgotten is a community quilting project documenting the names and lives of individuals killed by the Chicago Police Department.

Gone But Not Forgotten and Apna Ghar's Annual Collected Voices, Shared Journeys art show are cosponsoring a quilting circle and peace circle where folks can sew together and discuss questions of transformative justice, police accountability, and community safety.

Run for Revolutionary Health Care

CWHC is once again an Official Charity Organization for the Bank of America Marathon, and we’re thrilled to start accepting Team CWHC members for the 2016 race!

In addition to securing runners a guaranteed entry, CWHC will provide a team jersey, training opportunities, and fundraising support. Runners also get a cheering committee whose enthusiasm (and possible costumes) is unmatched.

Get Intersectional with ICAT

Join the Illinois Choice Action Team for an intersectional celebration of the Roe v. Wade decision (January), Black History Month (February), and Women's History Month (March).

ICAT will be screening and discussing We Always Resist, and the keynote speaker will be Gaylon Alcaraz
