Race Day for Team CWHC!

With less than one week until the Bank of America Chicago Marathon, Team CWHC is ready to go! After raising over $5000, with a goal of raising $9000 by Race Day, check out the other goals Team CWHC is running towards:
  • Beastly Brian Bean is aiming to finish the entire marathon in 3.5 hours! WATCH OUT.
  • Anna Guanzon is running her first marathon, ready for an 11-11:30 minute mile!
  • Theresa Anasti is tearing it up, trying for an 11-min mile during her first marathon!
  • Julia Turner is jamming out like a pro and aiming for an 8:30 mile!
  • Renee Woods is already rockin’ the multi-mile run, clocking an incredible 4:30-minute mile.
With Race Day on its way, there is still time to support Team CWHC! We’re asking supporters to give $26 in the next 26 minutes and help runners reach their goal of raising $9000 before getting to the start line!
Ready to support runners in-person? Join CWHC Collective Members at Mile 20 on Sunday, October 11th!

Where Do YOU Get Acupuncture?

CWHC is excited to collaborate with the Pacific College of Oriental Medicine (PCOM) to welcome our new masters-level acupuncture interns! Welcome to our interns Kara, Nicole, Petra, and Tammy!

Each semester, students from PCOM refine their skills by offering affordable services to CWHC clients while working under the supervision of licensed PCOM faculty. PCOM interns offer a wide array of services, including acupuncture, Chinese herbs, and moxabustion.

Acupuncture is a form of Traditional Chinese Medicine in which very fine needles are inserted through the skin to promote overall health and treat a wide variety of conditions. Acupuncture can help with chronic health care needs, stress-management, and acute concerns.

Interested in acupuncture? Services are offered on a sliding scale of $75-20 per session. Click here for more information about acupuncture and CWHC’s relationship with PCOM. Call 773-935-6126 to schedule an appointment today!
