Oregon On My Mind
September is finally here, and there are few things we love more than the fall harvest in Oregon! Whether we’re wandering through a bustling farmers market
, helping a neighborhood urban winery
with the crush, or just picking up some meats from a nearby organic farm for an end of summer BBQ on the EVO
, fall is the season for celebrating the bounty of our region. Feast Portland
’s Friday and Saturday premier daytime event, Oregon Bounty Grand Tasting presented by Alaska Airlines
, is dedicated to recognizing and celebrating that grow-your-own, farm-to-table, we-can-pickle-that, locavore spirit that makes Portland so special.
The Oregon Bounty Grand Tasting is a walk-around tasting event that will take place on Friday September 20th and Saturday September 21st from 12-5pm in Downtown Portland’s Pioneer Courthouse Square. The event will feature bites and sips from over 60 artisans, wineries, and breweries, as well as giveaways and cooking demonstrations throughout. Tickets are $60 per day, and like all Feast Portland events, the ticket price is inclusive of all food and drink served at the event!
Taste It All Here!
If you want to swirl, sniff and sip a huge selection of Oregon’s premier wines all in one place, Oregon Bounty Grand Tasting is the event for you. Anne Amie Vineyards, Bergstrom Wines, Division Winemaking Co., Penner-Ash Wine Cellars, Soter Vineyards, and Tendril Wine Cellars are just a few of the fantastic wineries that will be in attendance. If you'd prefer a beer in your hand, we've got you covered with 13 Oregon craft breweries pouring the good stuff, including Widmer Brothers Brewing, Double Mountain Brewery, Fort George Brewery, and Ninkasi Brewing.
It’s not just the imbibers who will get their fill. The Oregon Bounty Grand Tasting will be a smorgasbord of delicious bites from top local restaurants like Wildwood, Remedy Wine Bar, Clarklewis, Olympic Provisions and The Parish as well as many of Oregon’s best artisans like Ancient Heritage Dairy, Bee Local, Stumptown Coffee, and Pacific Pie Company. Salt & Straw will even be scooping their official Feast Portland ice cream flavor and the five flavors of their Feast Portland 2013 Chef Collaboration Series. There's a reason we call it Feast!

Feast is thrilled to partner with some of our region’s most valuable institutions that promote, protect, and educate the public about the resources that make Oregon’s food scene so vibrant. Be it Bosc, Bartlett or Anjou, USA Pears is making sure Feast Portland attendees taste the very best of Oregon’s delicious state fruit. The Oregon Raspberry and Blackberry Commission works with over 200 local berry farmers while supporting ongoing research and education of native Oregon caneberries, including raspberries, blackberries, Marionberries, and Boysenberries. Whether they are researching how to keep Oregon’s crops pest-free or how to develop award-winning artisan cheeses and craft brews, the Oregon State University: College of Agricultural Sciences is dedicated to bringing the best quality food to people’s tables in our state and beyond, helping our food, wine and beer industry stay vibrant and profitable.
The Oregon Department of Fish and Wildlife’s mission is to protect and enhance Oregon's fish and wildlife and their habitats for use and enjoyment by present and future generations. Seafood Oregon represents Oregon Dungeness Crab, Oregon Albacore, Oregon Trawl, and Oregon Salmon commissions, so you can get hooked on ocean-to-table dining, especially after Feast Portland events like Tasting Panel: White Wines & The Shore Line. American Lamb Board certified lamb is raised only by the most skilled farmers, so when it comes to lamb at Feast Portland, we’ll all be answering a definite ‘yes’ to the American Lamb Board’s timeless question, “Are ewe a fan of lamb?” If you’re looking for protein a little out of the ordinary, talk to Nicky USA, a purveyor of specialty game and high quality meats - elk, boar, buffalo, and quail are just the tip of the wild game iceberg - and be sure to check out Nicky USA’s 13th annual Wild About Game event this Sunday at Timberline Lodge!
