|Dear EuSEM Members,
The EuSEM Professional Committee is conducting a European survey of Emergency Departments (ED). We request that all EuSEM members participate in this survey.
The survey’s goal is to establish descriptive data regarding the structure, organisation and number of patients treated in the Emergency Departments of EuSEM members' hospitals. The data will be processed anonymously so as to safeguard the confidentiality of the information. The results will not be representative of Europe nor of any individual country. We do aim, however, to establish an overview of conditions in EDs throughout Europe, thereby creating a reference for countries where there are no minimum requirements. The results will be published in the members-only area of the EuSEM website.
Your ED’s participation in this survey, as well as promoting participation amongst fellow EuSEM members, is important so that we can elaborate, as accurately as possible, this overview. We strongly urge you to take a few minutes to fill in the survey and return it as quickly as possible and no later than 24 August 2013. We are aiming to present the results at the joint EuSEM and AAEM meeting (MEMC) in Marseille in September.
On behalf of the EuSEM Professional Committee, we wish to thank you in advance for your participation and support.
