Phone Mysteriously in Do Not Disturb Mode

Have colleagues been telling you that you've missed their calls or that you show up as unavailable in the ShoreTel Communicator? Maybe they're crazy. Maybe you're crazy. Or maybe your Outlook Calendar is accidentally putting your phone into Do Not Disturb mode. Follow these easy steps to disconnect your Outlook Calendar from your Call Handling settings.

You can use the same steps to connect Outlook to your Call Handling settings too!

Disconnect Outlook Calendar from Call Handling Settings
 1. In ShoreTel Communicator, select Tools then Options
 2. Select Outlook
 3. Under the Calendar section, deselect Use Outlook appointments to change Call Handling Mode.

If you want your Outlook Calendar to integrate with ShoreTel's Call Handling feature, simply select the option in item 3 above. (You may need to install Outlook Calendar integration, which can be done by clicking the Install button on the same page.) Then your Call Handling Mode will change based on the events in your Outlook Calendar.
