Upgraded Call Forwarding Presets

Did you know that the newer releases of ShoreTel Communicator (13 & higher) now allow you to store up to 7 external numbers as call forwarding presets instead of just one?  You can even specify the number of rings per number before the system automatically reroutes to voicemail or tries to find you at the next preset number.

To Set Up & Activate Call Forwarding Presets:
  1. In Communicator, go to Tools > Options > My Phones
  2. Enter numbers for Mobile, Home, and up to 5 other numbers of your choosing
  3. Click the "..." button next to each number edit the number of rings
  4. Click OK to save your changes
  5. To activate Call Forwarding Presets:
      a. Click the Primary Phone drop-down on the toolbar (under the "Windows" menu)
      b. Select one of your presets to activate forwarding to that number
