The Worlds First Global Climate Agreement

The nations of the World have agreed on a new global and legally binding climate agreement. The decision came after difficult final negotiations at the climate summit COP21 in Paris. The new agreement will be the framework for the world's countries climate efforts for a long time to come.

For the first time, we have a global climate agreement which is a milestone for the world and for the cooperation for sustainable development! Sweden has long pushed for an agreement that reinforces the climate and been one of the world's role models concerning environmental issues. In practicality and short, the global climate agreement states that the global increase of the temperature must be kept well below 2 degrees and that all the world's countries should gradually intense their commitments.

This is a big step for the world and as President Obama stated regarding the agreement "this represents the best chance we have to save the one planet that we've got."
