INTERNATIONAL HARVESTERS INSTITUTE

VCH is continuing to go forward in the middle of all the chaos and crisis that we see around the world. We started the 2020 fall semester at the International Harvesters Institute BibleSchool on Monday September 7th.
Each school year we kick off the semester with “FIRE WEEK,” teaching the students about their purpose, their calling, and their destiny to be god pleasers and history makers for God’s kingdom! The specific theme that the Lord gave me this school year is "You are More than Conquerors!" We have 38 students in person and 19 are taking classes by ZOOM.

I kicked off the first session with the VCH history of how Donna and I moved to Laredo,Texas in January of 1986. We began working as missionaries with Latin American Bible Church Missions. In the middle of a missionary prayer meeting, God showed me a vision of Mexico covered with ocean waves. When the ocean waves receded, it left big black Bibles all over the country with gold crosses on them. God said, “Get my Word out because it will not return void without accomplishing what I sent it forth to do."
The mandate to give One million Bibles and win One million Souls began in 1992.  As you know, we reached that goal 25 years later in August of 2016. Our Mexico City VCH staff gave me a gold ring in commemoration of that goal being reached.  Later, in a worship service in Houston, with my hands lifted up and my eyes closed, I saw my 10 fingers with 10 gold rings on them.

God spoke to me again - "10 million Bibles - 10 million Souls!" Donna and I know this can only be made possible by the disciples we are making at the International Harvesters Institute and at our churches.
We have graduate missionaries who are ministering throughout the country of Mexico and to the nations - as far as Asia. Through the blessing of God and faithful supporters, we have 54 churches in Mexico, three Children’s Feeding Centers and three drug and alcohol Rehabilitation Centers. Our goal is to reach the unreached and tell the untold, to proclaim the Good News and to bring in God's fold!
With your help, through the grace of God, we are going forward with boldness and urgency to continue to fulfill God's mandate of the Great Commission!

We have graduate missionaries who are ministering throughout the country of Mexico and to the nations - as far as Asia. Through the blessing of God and faithful supporters, we have 54 churches in Mexico, three Children’s Feeding Centers and three drug and alcohol Rehabilitation Centers. we are overcomers thtough the blood of the Lamb and through the word of our testimony!
Revelation 12:11. The Apostle Paul said it so clearly to the persecuted Christian believers in Rome-
"But in all these things we overwhelmingly conquer through Him who loved us. For I am convinced that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor things present, nor things to come, nor powers, nor heigh, nor depth, nor any other created thing, will be able to separate ud from the love of God, wich is in Christ Jesus our Lord." Romans 8:38-39
I asked the students, “Are you in the crisis or in Christ?” I asked them if they are in faith or in fear? I told our students and staff that in the midst of this crisis, we must always remain focused on Christ and stand firm on the rock of our faith in Jesus.  We were blessed with amazing and uplifting messages. Over and over each speaker brought a powerful word to our students and staff.  The Holy Spirit orchestrated each message!
I kicked off the week with the focus on Christ in us and not on the crisis.  As we focus on Christ, we will realize that we are chosen to fulfill our call carry out our mission to reach our destiny!  Guest speaker Pastor Armando Castillo, shared about the power of the cross to set people free. Missionary Bob Gableman taught on the God-head and the importance of being intimate with each member, Father, Son and Holy Spirit.
Pastor Antonio Gonzalez shared that  God has provided us with the power of the Holy Spirit to take us over the top in victory.  IHI Administrator, Oscar David, shared worship is not just something we do, it is what we were made for.
Miguel and Dalila Hernandez, the Assistant Directors of the IHI school, both shared powerful messages that in turn empowered the students to go and conquer!
Pastor Rusty Gunn, from Oklahoma, came as a guest speaker and brought several awesome teachings.   One message was "Remember WE are the body of Christ - WE are more than conquerors together."   He highlighted an overlooked man, Epaphroditis, a dear friend of Paul’s who he wanted to recognize for his dedication to the church in Philippi. He made great sacrifices to further the Gospel, and it almost cost him his life! (Philippians 2:19) We ARE STRONGER TOGETHER!  Pastor Rusty also shared  on “Effective Discipleship for “House Churches”.
On day four, Donna shared a message on conqueroring inner areas of our soul to live victoriously.
This battle is real that we must fight to overcome and win the victory in Christ.   IHI Director, Josh Haver, followed with reminding us all that we are, and must understand, “more than conquerors” in the context of Jesus and who He is, "The conqueror!"
Other IHI staff members shared amazing messages as well; Roberto Almanza, Mario Zamarron, Omar Arellano, and Missionary Shane Lehman.
I finished up “Fire Week” with "Three Keys to Being more than a Conqueror" and "Right Thinking, Right Attitude, Right Speaking!" students were filled with His power from on High! We are off to another tremendous overcoming school year! Praise The Lord!
We continue to distribute food door-to-door as so many people are struggling because of Covid-19. The students also are being trained on how to disciple new believers through our House churches. Our Staff and students at the IHI are the engine behind our results! While they are being trained, they also are helping us to complete de Great Commission.

We have shared the Gospel with the people in each house we have repaired. We praise God as they have been getting saved! Our food distributions have opened the hearts of many people to the Good News of Jesus Christ. We have asked some of those who have been blessed by a new roof or new home, if they would be interested in opening their home for a "House Church" in their area.

We have developed a discipleship program to train others how to be fishers of men and make disciples of these new believers. All of this training happens at the IHI Bible School.

The IHI Bible School training center costs $19,750 /month to operate. Currently we have $10,000 in monthly support. Would you please pray about helping us to reach our goal of reaching the remaining $9,750 to continue training up future ministers? The IHI is the "HUB" of VCH, and through our staff and students, we are able to continue to reach the vision of TEN MILLION BIBLES FOR 10 MILLION SOULS! Please note "IHI" on your gift.
One of the first homes we built was for a widow, Isabel. Her daughter, Perla lives behind her house. We began construction of her house this week. With our small IHI construction team working in the mornings, it will take 2 weeks to complete from top to bottom. We have already built 7 roofs and 4 complete houses with the help of donors. We are also rebuilding two Pastor's home that were damaged in the storm.

We have seven more roofs lined up and 5 homes. We want to invite anyone who feels called to help us with these construction projects. We have had individuals come and help out for a week at a time, and it was a great blessing. Each roof cost on average $500 and a complete home runs $2,500 - $4,000. Some are smaller for windows and others are larger for single-mother families. If you would like to participate with a donation you can go to our web page www.vcharvesters.org or call our offices at (956) 727-0059. Please note for "Roof/Home" on your donation.

The IHI construction teams building homes and roofs, is made up of our IHI staff who also have other responsibilities on the IHI campus.
Our IHI students are being trained by our staff, not only in the class settings, but also with our local outreaches. The guy students will be helping with roof construction on Saturdays. The women students will be discipline children in the homes of different families in the neighborhoods. Thank you for your support!
Dear VCH Partner,
All of us at Victorious Christian Harvesters are going forward! We are continuing forward with the IHI Bible school training center that was founded to raise up nationals to destroy the works of the devil.  We are feeding the hungry by distributing food to the needy in humble subdivisions. We are continuing to build churches in Mexico, Cuba, and in El Salvador. We are continuing to put up roofs and build new compact houses for widows, single mothers and humble families. Right now, we are cleaning out and reorganizing the warehouse so that we can buy more lumber supplies before the prices go up even higher.

Your faithful support is enabling us to do all of this and more. Thank you for helping us and continuing to go forward with all of us at VCH! May God continue to help you, strengthen you and give you wisdom during these days.

“Yet in all of these things, we are more than conquerors and gain an overwhelming victory through Him who loved us so much that He died for us!” Romans 8:37 (Amplified)

Going Forward in the Victorious Harvest with you until we see Jesus face-to-face
Thank you for your faithful prayers and support! We are Praying for you!

David, Donna, and the VCH staff.
