Saturday, October 11The Last Great Winter will transform all three floors of the museum with artworks, music, and performances by local and global artists including Quilla (Greensboro), Modern Robot (Greensboro), Wolf's Mouth (Greensboro), The Piedmont Regulators (Chapel Hill), Lee Weisert's sonic ice sculpture (Chapel Hill), Accordion Time Machine (Asheville), Poncili Creacion (Puerto Rico / Baltimore), and a host of past and present Elsewhere artists and staff. Taste winter delights from Table 16. Indulge in a frosty snow cone infusion on a polar bear tour. Party with penguins and arctic foxes at a bar on every floor. First Friday, October 3 : Draw with light and animate live with The Tagtool Crew--featured artists of 17 Days Greensboro. The First Friday finale with feature live collaborative projection demonstrations with The Tagtool Crew and local artists; live music by QuillaMUST BE THE HOLY GHOST and COLAPSS; tours of new works by Elsewhere artists-in-residence; special winter ticket booth for The Last Great Winter at Elsewhere

ABOUT ELSEWHERE
Elsewhere is an artist-run, non-profit living museum and artist residency, set in a former thrift store in downtown Greensboro, NC. Utilizing the massive 58-year inventory, Elsewhere’s environment of art and everyday objects invokes new modes for creative response, living, doing, and exchanging in our downtown neighborhood and across the world.
