A day-long makers summit for artists, curators, gallerists, thinkers, friends, discussing critical issues affecting artist-run spaces and initiatives in North Carolina and our opportunities for developing networks and resources for mutual support. It is the capstone event for Elsewhere’s Southern Constellations Curatorial Initiative, which seeks to expand and support the creation of experimental art in the South. ABOUT ELSEWHERE
Elsewhere is an artist-run, non-profit living museum and artist residency, set in a former thrift store in downtown Greensboro, NC. Utilizing the massive 58-year inventory, Elsewhere’s environment of art and everyday objects invokes new modes for creative response, living, doing, and exchanging in our downtown neighborhood and across the world.
