  • Congratulations to #MiamiGoesElsewhere's Pioneer Winter on his performance film GIMP GAIT being selected for the 2017 Los Angeles Dance Film Festival! It will be screened at the Vintage Cinemas Los Feliz 3 on January 26th, 2017.

  • Shoutout to Jillian Mayer who just exhibited in "Chambres à Part: Life Is Beautiful" and was named within one of the "Five Best Things at Art Basel" by Vogue.com. Mayer is also exhibiting her Slumpies series at the Pérez Art Museum through January 22nd, 2017.

  • Check out this early influence on Elsewhere's roots in Vanity Fair: a pseudo-sibling by the name of Atlantis Books in Santorini.

Elsewhere would like to send our love to the artist communities and families that are suffering after the recent fire at Ghost Ship in Oakland. Seeing the pictures of this space and knowing the struggle for code compliance, we can't help but feel a kinship.

We are eternally grateful to all the people who have helped Elsewhere restore its building--providing robust sprinkler, new electrical, fire alarm, exit, and monitoring system, egress and evacuation systems--to provide life safety for artist communities around the world and friends here in Greensboro.

We are heartbroken by this tragedy and send love to all those directly affected.
