NOVEMBER 6, 7 & 8
Celebrating Elsewhere’s 2015 Season of Neighborhood Art + Public Programming
Join Elsewhere, South Elm Artists, Neighbors and Community Partners for the final open weekend of Elsewhere’s season featuring three new South Elm Projects. 

FRIDAY, NOVEMBER 6 FROM 6-10PM at Elsewhere
First Friday: South Elm Water Bar Opening
Featuring the public launch of Work Progress Studio’s South Elm Water Bar tended by the Greensboro Water Resources Department and a three floor open house highlighting the projects made on site in 2015.



SATURDAY, NOVEMBER 7 at Various Sites
FROM 12-2PM at the Grassy Lot at the Corner of Bragg and Arlington Streets
Community Potluck + Performances at The Porch Project: Black Lunch Tables
Celebrating the launch of Heather Hart’s The Porch Project: Black Lunch Tables with a performance by Smith High School step team. Bring a friend a dish to share. 


AT 4PM starting at Elsewhere
South Elm Neighborhood Walking Tour with Camp Little Hope
Tour of the neighborhood with insights on social and environmental history gathered during the production of a series of Field Guides by artist collective Camp Little Hope and the Chamber of Commons. 


FROM 5-7PM in The Yard behind Elsewhere 
South Elm Projects Reception + Happy Hour
Celebrate a year of neighborhood art and public programming in the South Elm neighborhood. Featuring South Elm Water Bar tended by Guilford College’s Cape Fear River Basin Project. 



SUNDAY, NOVEMBER 8 at Corner of Bragg & Arlington Street
Community Conversations at The Porch Project: Black Lunch Tables 

AT 11AM, SESSION 1 : BLACK LUNCH TABLES
Artists of African descent are invited to be a part of recording our (art) histories. Free, refreshments provided. Seating is limited; please RSVP by emailing Heather Hart at blacklunchtables@gmail.com.

AT 2PM, SESSION 2 : BLACK LIVES MATTER
Everyone is invited to be part of this integrated table recording our ideas, sharing our thoughts and forming new connections with fellow community members. Free, refreshments are provided. Seating is limited; please RSVP by emailing Heather Hart at blacklunchtables@gmail.com.
