Money to the Masses

A reminder of the importance of insurance

Personal insurance often receives a lot of bad press with questions raised about the value it offers and the likelihood of policyholders being declined payouts when they make a claim.

This week I came across an article that highlighted just how important critical illness insurance can be if you are diagnosed with a serious illness such as breast cancer. The article is all the more poignant for me as the lady who shares her cancer story is a wonderful person that I used to work with and who had a lot of time for me in my early career.

Emma’s story is a great illustration of the importance of personal insurance when planning your finances but unfortunately it is often overlooked.

If you would like to know more about personal insurance I would suggest completing my free Money MOT and signing up to the free action plan emails which cover this topic in detail.
