XMG and Get Set Games
Interactive Ontario members Get Set Games and XMG Studio have both been featured in the FP Tech Desk's "Download Code," a series on the business of video games. The profile of Get Set highlighted its new release Mega Run - which rocketed to #1 in the Canadian App Store - while the piece on XMG detailed the wide variety of projects the studio has been working on, including a location-based Ghostbusters game.

DrinkBox Studios' Guacamelee to be released through PlayStation Pub Fund

DrinkBox Studios have announced that their upcoming game Guacamelee will be released on PlayStation3 and PlayStation Vita with the support of the PlayStation Pub Fund, a program that offers indie developers financial and marketing support. 

Shaftesbury donates $30,000 to Etobicoke School of the Arts
Shaftesbury have renewed their committment to the Etobicoke School of the Arts Film program with a $30,000 donation over the next three years. The company also recently announced the winners of the Shaftesbury Student Filmmaker Awards in conjuction with ESA - the winning films can be seen on Shaftesbury's YouTube channel.

Capy named one of Top 30 Developers
The Top 30 Developers list in the most recent issue of Game Developer Magazine includes Toronto's Capybara Games. The profile notes the success of their game Superbrothers: Sword & Sworcery EP, which has won numerous awards, including Best Mobile Game at the Game Developers' Choice Awards. Congrats!

Digital Human Library
The Digital Human Library (dHL) is an online database of people in Ontario and around the world who are using Skype to connect with students in their classrooms and share ideas, teach lessons, answer questions, and collaborate with educators to improve educational achievement, enrich curriculum experiences, stimulate student interest and curiosity, and increase student engagement and participation.
