Thank you everyone that joined us for Roundtable last night! We had great conversation with you all and a special thank you to Rachel & Jeff for leading our breakout sessions. Go ahead and mark your calendar for May 4th at 7 pm for our final Roundtable before the summertime!

Upcoming Activities & Events

Camp Cards:

If you didn’t sign up for camp cards but would still like them or weren’t able to pick them up last night please reach out to Kevin or I and we can arrange a pick up for you! Camp cards are a great tool for our Scouts to be able to fundraise for the upcoming camping season!

FOS Presentations: If your unit is planning a gathering in the coming months (or even in the Fall) and you haven’t yet had a Friends of Scouting presentation, please let us know so that we can have a volunteer give a presentation! This fundraiser is vital for our District’s success and we need your help.

The District Dinner is in 11 DAYS! Please register by THIS Friday to help us ensure our catering numbers are correct. We will have food, drinks, and games at the Outlet in Edwardsville for a relaxed, safe afternoon of celebration. If you or someone you know is being recognized at that event we would love to have you join us to celebrate! Even if you don’t know anyone that is being recognized, you certainly will afterwards. To see the list of the evening’s honoree’s look at the Dinner’s tab on the “Our Events” page on our District’s page on the Council website. Click the image to register!

The Spring Camporee is now less than a month away! As of right now we only have two units actually signed up for the Camporee itself but we have many registered to camp.

Registration for camping and the Camporee are *separate* so it is important to register for both. This is a safety protocol that our committee decided to implement, but we NEED Troops to register for the event soon. Patches and everything else are IN so it’ll be a fun event! Each team will need two swimmers to participate in the relay and we have opportunities to do so!

This Sunday there will be a BSA Swim Test available - April 11th, 12:30 - 4:30.
Edwardsville High School (Chuck Fruit Aquatic Center).
6168 Center Grove Rd, Edwardsville, IL 62025.

We will be scheduling units in half-hour increments (assuming about 25 people). A unit that would like to schedule a time will need to email Jeff Pauk jeff@mcsurvey.com let him know a maximum number you expect to swim and Jeff will reply back with a time their unit can show up. This is great if your unit is going to Summer Camp as well.

Finally! If you are an adult or have an older Scout that would like to help staff this event, we need help! Message Martina Bishopp at parzivalxf@yahoo.com or myself to get plugged in. We have full day and slots available!

When: April 30 - May 2, 2021 if camping / May 1 for day attendance
Where: Camp Warren Levis – Godfrey, IL
Cost: $10 per Scout if paid before April 23, $12 after April 23. Adults are free. Troops will need to plan their own meals.
