Hello Scouting Community!

What an amazing weekend full of derby races and fun! Thank you to everyone who participated and supported this years Pinewood Derby, we really appreciate it. We hope everyone had a blast! I know we did. Looking ahead we have our next Roundtable April 6th at 7 PM via Zoom as usual.

However, before the Zoom meeting from 5:30-6:30 PM at First Christian Church in Edwardsville, we will be having a camp card pick time (as well as any other paperwork/things you need to drop off).
Our April 6th Roundtable will have two breakout sessions again, like we did a while ago. The topics for the two sessions are as follows:

We hope to see you there!! And don't forget about stopping by First Christian Church to pick up your camp cards!

District Highlight

On top of the wonderful weekend full of the Pinewood Derby, we recently had our big event Klondike! We had so much fun doing both events with everyone and we just wanted to share a few snapshots and memories of the event!

Other Announcements!

  • We have an incredible group of volunteers that work hard to fundraise money to support our District’s local Scouting. If your unit has yet to submit a date for someone to come give a presentation and you now know that date, please enter it here: https://stlbsa.org/give-now/friends-of-scouting/

    • Our dream would be to have all of our families give back to Scouting, even if it was a couple dollars. Every dollar makes a difference and together we can make a lasting impact on our community! If you’d like to make a donation to the Cahokia Mounds District to support our Scouts, click here: https://app.mobilecause.com/form/h201yw?vid=hc4e6
Thank you all for reading our Newsletter! We hope it was interesting and helpful to you. Looking forward, to catching up at Roundtable!
