Hello Scouting Community!

Can you believe it's already May? Summer is right around the corner and I know we can't wait! If the Spring Camporee was any indication, Summer will be filled with the outdoors and fun for us all. To better prepare for a summer filled with fun, we have an amazing Roundtable tomorrow night on First Aid.
Just a reminder, Roundtable is TOMORROW, 7 pm via Zoom. We will have a drop off and pick up time at First Christian Church available prior to Roundtable if anyone needs materials for anything. We will have physical copies of the program preview guides available which are a helpful resource to every unit.

You won’t want to miss tomorrow (and not only because it’s the last Roundtable for a couple months)! We will have wonderful speakers discussing everything First Aid, the Summertime Pack Award and why you should think about it, and Woodbadge. Just a reminder, Roundtable is open to everyone that wants to join!

We had so much fun at the Camporee and we hope you all did too! We have to admit though, we're still recovering from that much fun!

Upcoming Activities & Events

Mark your calendars for May 15th if you are in Cub Scouts!   Make sure to invite new families out for a fun filled day where they can sign up for Scouting.
Just a reminder that we are always in recruitment mode! We have plenty of recruitment materials available that we would love to share with your unit. It’s important to always be warm and inviting to new families as they join Scouting.

Take a moment to think about who in your inner circle isn’t involved in Scouting and consider inviting them to your next event. Everyone wants to be welcomed and asked to join in on something fun.
Don't forget!!
We are selling Father’s Day Cards as a fundraiser for our District’s Family Friends of Scouting! You can help support Scouting while also showing Dad how much you care. Register before June 6th
Check out our 2021 Summer Camp Guide! This guide is CHOCK FULL of great resources.
Summer Camp is only 35 DAY AWAY! If you can’t tell, we’re excited about that. Just a reminder that we do offer Camperships to those that need them and want every kid to experience the life changing fun of Summer Camp! Camperships can help cover 10-50% of the overall cost and can only apply to GSLAC summer camps.
Campership Info & Forms
Tickets run at $20 and includes ammo, targets, pizza, and an event t-shirt. Don't forget to register by May 12th!
Please consider making a donation to Scouting this Thursday, May 6th, if you haven’t already. We are participating in GiveSTL Day – a one day fundraiser that allows us to earn up to double what you donate and put it right back into local Scouting. We will send out more information about this on Wednesday, but here is our District’s fundraising link: Give STL Day! If you give between the hours below we will receive a percentage of a $20,000 pool – meaning more money for our Scouts!
