Annual Book Sale

During library hours

Join us for our annual book sale! The library will be accepting donations of like-new books until October 19th. Please, no textbooks or pamphlets, mold, mildew, smoke damage, etc. Presented by the Friends of the Ogden Farmers' Library.
New York's Holy History
Monday, October 24 @ 7-8pm

Many people are aware of story of the Mormons or the Spiritualists, but they were only the tip of the iceberg of New York's religious activity. This presentation will discuss some of the fascinating historical figures and events that went on to influence the religious practices of our entire nation and the world beyond. Presented by Jack Kowiak. Refreshments will be served. Registration is appreciated but not required.

Halloween Mask Making
Wednesday, October 26

Utilize OFL’s bottomless craft supplies to decorate a mask for your Halloween costume! This is an unstructured open craft night. Bring anything special you would like to add to your mask. Masks, glue guns, glitter, feathers, paints, and more will be provided. Ages 16 & up. Register Here.

Practice ACT
Saturday, October 1 @ 10am-2pm

Prepare for the official ACT by taking a practice test under "real" timed test conditions. Take an officially released, full- length exam with other students, proctored by a test expert. Afterward, learn how to score the exam and interpret the results. Presented by Chariot Learning. Bring pencils, snacks, and a calculator. For students in grades 9-12. Registration is required.

Ogden Farmers' Library is seeking up to two people to fill upcoming vacancies on the Board of Trustees.  Board members advocate for the library, develop the policies of the library, and oversee the library's finances.  Trustees must live in Ogden, New York.  There is a board meeting one Thursday evening 8 months of the year, and total time commitment shouldn't exceed 4 hours a month.  If you are interested, please ask for a Trustee Application at the circulation desk.
