Diamondbacks Partner with the AGA

Arizona Golf Association is excited to announce a new partnership with the Arizona Diamondbacks for the 2017 season. Starting in March, AGA members will have the opportunity to receive discounted member pricing on tickets to Arizona Diamondback games. This new member benefit will allow members to spend quality time with family, friends and co-workers while enjoying Major League baseball. Members can now log onto and click on the Arizona Diamondbacks logo on the Benefits page to check out the Diamondback's schedule.

PGA Tour Superstore Grand Opening 

This Saturday, January 14th, come early and be the first in line for the PGA Tour Superstore Glendale Grand Opening. The doors will open at 9AM. The store will be giving away more than $30,000 worth of FREE STUFF to the first customers who visit! The new Glendale store is located at 7360 West Bell Road, Glendale, AZ 85308. Arizona Short Course Title Winner

This isn't the first time that we have seen the name Greg Cesarek as our tournament champion. The  Arizona Short Course was January 7-8 at The Wigwam Resort in Litchfield, AZ. Winning with a birdie on 18, Cesarek finished the final round with par overall.  

Conner Burdick, Jackson Whisenhunt, Ted Neville, Blaine Staggs and first round co-leader Adam Walicki finished at +2 for a share of third place. Defending champion and the final member of the first round leading trio, James Russo finished at +5 for ninth place.

Mayan March Madness 

Spend March 25-26, 2017 playing golf and experiencing the best course in Mexico- Jack Nicklaus design golf course at Vidanta Puerto Penasco. The AGA's Member Days takes a trip south of the border to visit the beautiful Mayan Palace Resort.

The entry fee for the AGA members and their guest is $89 per person. Each player will receive two rounds of golf, FREE beer on Saturday, two FREE lunches and fabulous prizes! The format for the tournament will be a four-person shamble gross. Each player will hit their drive and the best is selected. From there, each player plays their own ball and you score the best two balls. For the schedule of events, more information or to sign up, click HERE. 
Rules Trivia
Question: A player briefly searches for his ball, declares it lost and tees another ball. His original ball is then found in a water hazard less than five minutes after search began. What is the ruling?

Patriot All-America- Champ Wins 

Cameron Champ from Texas A&M knocked in a one-foot putt for par on the second playoff hole to win the 2016 Patriot All-America Invitational over Zachary Olsen of Oklahoma State. Champ entered the final round tied for sixth, three-shots back of second round leader Sahith Theegala. During his final round, Champ shot a 4-under par, 66 (203) that included six birdies and two bogeys to earn himself a spot in the playoff. Meanwhile, Olsen entered the final round tied for eighth, four-shots back. Olsen shot a 5-under par 65 (the best round of the day) to qualify for the playoff.
