Modernizing the Rules of Golf
On March 1st, the USGA and The R&A unveiled a preview of proposed changes to the Rules of Golf. This is a major revision and is part of a joint initiative to modernize the Rules and make them easier to understand and apply. The potential changes are open to the public for comment until August 31st of this year. Click the button below to read about the proposed changes and submit your feedback. The Orthopedic Clinical Association (TOCA) Foundation is hosting the 1st Annual TOCA Charity Golf Tournament on April 27th

The Handicap Department is heading to Tucson for the next Handicap Seminar on Tuesday, March 21st

We will cover items that will assist club administrators in the application of the rules of handicapping - topics such as when to post scores, responsibilities of the Handicap Committee, playing from different tees, handicap index calculation. handicap reduction due to exceptional tournament play and much, much more. Mickelson & Papago Golf Course
Phil Mickelson is taking part in some exciting new changes happening at Papago Golf Course in Phoenix! Arizona State University is working with the Arizona Golf Community Foundation and the City of Phoenix to revive a landmark golf course primed for resurgence. Mickelson, who designed the ASU practice facility at Papago said “Arizona State’s facility is going to be home to the single-greatest short game training space in the country,”
