Grilled Cheese Café Now Open in Downtown

Capitol Melts, a café specializing in grilled cheese sandwiches, is now open in Downtown. Located in Wellington Row at 136 State Street, they open at 8:00 AM on weekdays and serve breakfast and lunch. See photos.

Upstate Revitalization Initiative Update

The Capital Region Economic Development Council's advisory committee is seeking the region's best thinking and most transformative projects for Governor Cuomo's Upstate Revitalization Initiative. The Council's next meeting will be held May 28, 2015 from 12:30 PM to 2:30 PM at the Holiday Inn at 232 Broadway. Learn more about the initiative, which will grant a total of $750 million this year.

Capital Repertory Theatre's Acting Intensive Returns

Acting Intensive at theREP is back. This year, instructor Leenya Rideout (who played Martha in The Secret Garden) will guide students aged 14-17 in master classes, monologue work, and character studies. The program runs August 17-21, 2015. Learn more.
