There are so many ways to be successful, but I often stop and wonder why we have so many definitions of that word.⠀ ⠀
Is success having the most money?
The most notoriety?
Is it about the most fame?
The most respect?
Is success all about others or is it all about yourself?
Is it predicated on luck?
Or is it all fixed?⠀ ⠀
I wanted to find out, so I ran a poll and found that for many people, feeling successful in life is wrapped up into having money. And they pursue that so hard.
However, there's a problem: Money is fleeting. Once you earn more, you begin to buy more things and have more bills. And you are always left feeling empty.⠀ ⠀
But there's something else that I think defines success.
When you discover the things you are wired to fulfill and that affect people in positive ways, you've won. Live a life of purpose and you'll never have just a job, but a calling.⠀ ⠀
The best part about pursuing a passion? Profit often comes with it. Do what you love and you'll love what you do.⠀ ⠀
That's my recipe for building something successful. That's how I can honestly say I wake up every day excited to get to work and build, create, dream, and pursue my passions. And I have the confidence in knowing the profit will follow, and all my needs will be taken care of.
