Hi Veronica It’s Jason from Liars & Believers and we’re back from a great run at the Philly Fringe! We restaged Who Would Be King, got a super response from a new audience, and explored the city(great ice cream.) Thank you Philly! Now we're headed to the Big Apple!
We changed a lot. Who Would Be Kingis now 90 minutes and no intermission. The staging is compact and the story more concentrated. We deepened the characters, and we learned how to tour. So... NYC, Here We Come! We booked 3 weeks at Ars Nova in March! What's Ars Nova? One of the most important companies supporting innovative new theatre. They’ve got a Broadway transfer, an Off-Broadway transfer, and were just featured in the NY Times this week! Check them out!
This is our opportunity to reach the producing world in a premiere venue. And you're coming – because you were with us first!Meanwhile Back at Home This week, our friends atImaginary Beastspremiere The Fall River Axe Murders at the Boston Center for the Arts. They create beautiful, innovative, original work. Check them out!
And our friends at the Boston Circus Guild return to OBERON October 21-29 with Cirque of the Dead. This is fun, gory, playful circus up close and personal. I love these guys. Thanks Thank you for all your love and support! This is an exciting time and we couldn’t do it without your generous contributions. You are powering this journey and we are deeply grateful to you, along with the Cambridge Arts Council, the Boston Cultural Council, and the Massachusetts Cultural Council.
We look forward to sharing this journey with you!
Jason
