Good Morning! Just a week out from the ESIP Summer Meeting. The meeting is shaping up and next week's update will be entirely devoted to meeting highlights. Last call for posters, demos and meeting session abstracts!

We opened the vote for new members this morning. If you are a voting rep, you should have received an email from me with the vote procedure. Thanks in advance for taking care of that!

ESIP Summer Meeting, July 9-12 

Agenda: The final meeting agenda has been posted to the ESIP Commons. Thank you so much to all of you who submitted sessions and have been part of the agenda creation process.

Registration: Full registration until the meeting starts is $400/members and $525/non-members. The registration rate rises to $500 (members) and $625 (non-members) on site, July 9. ECSITE’13: EarthCube Summer Institute for Technology Exploration 2013

ECSITE’13 will be held August 12th - 16th, 2013, at theSan Diego Supercomputer Center, University of California, San Diego. Funded by the National Science Foundation’s Geoinformatics program and the EarthCube program, ECSITE’13 builds upon eight years of the Cyberinfrastructure Summer Institute for Geoscientists, from 2004-2011 (see Previous Summer Institutes).

Description: The Arizona Geological Survey (AZGS) is seeking to hire Project Coordinators to assist with a community building process, designed to identify, test, and evaluate scenarios for governance for cyberinfrastructure of the Geosciences as part of the EarthCube initiative. More information on EarthCube is available at  <http://earthcube.ning.com/and  <http://www.nsf.gov/geo/earthcube/>.  Project Coordinators will be assigned to work with and support a number of project members and constituency groups, representing a diverse set of organizations and people from across the country, in order to handle communication, meetings and workshop organization, researching and preparation of reports), and other tasks as assigned.
