We are finally moving from the Monday Update from the ESIP-ALL list to include others from ESIP cluster-specific lists. ESIP-ALL is still available to the community to send announcements. ESIP Meetings: 
The ESIP Winter Meeting is January 8-10, 2013. The theme is ESIP Advancing Earth Science Information: From Climate Assessment to Intelligence to Action. 
  • Registration - Early bird rate ends Nov. 30. There are student, teacher and 1-day rates. 
  • A draft agenda is posted. Sessions still need to be shuffled to minimize conflicts. 
  • Plenary speakers will cross agencies and organizations including: Anne Waple (NOAA), Ann Bartuska (USDA) and Ghassem Asrar (WMO)   
While a long way off, we have set the ESIP Summer Meeting for 2013 will be July 9-12, 2013 at UNC-Chapel Hill. We are grateful to our new member, RENCI, for hosting this meeting.

Data Management Short Course: The ESIP Federation, in cooperation with NOAA, seeks to share the community's knowledge with scientists who increasingly need to be better data managers, as well as to support workforce development for new data management professionals. We are very excited to share the first set of finished modules:

- [Job Opp] Program Coordinator for HDF Earth Science Projects- The HDF Group is seeking an energetic leader to direct our Earth Science Program.
