EarthCube Solicitation Call, Friday, Feb. 8, 3pm EST - This webinar will provide a brief introduction to the new NSF EarthCube solicitation (http://www.nsf.gov/pubs/2013/nsf13529/nsf13529.htm) which is to develop a new, community-driven, data and knowledge management cyberinfrastructure system for the geosciences. It also provides an opportunity for a question and answer session by program leads.

NOAA-Northern Gulf Institute Internship Now Accepting Applications The NOAA-NGI Diversity Internship Program is now seeking interns to participate in the 2013 program. This 10-week summer internship is open to undergraduate and graduate students currently enrolled in a degree-granting program. There is an emphasis on students from communities and institutions in the Northern Gulf of Mexico region, and the program specifically targets populations underrepresented in the NOAA workforce.
