Bullis Food Rides

On the March 25th Bullis Park ride, Danny and Sandra Martinez provided a great breakfast of grilled brats and tortillas for us. Those who had them know what a treat it was.  On the April 29 ride at Bullis, we'll be offering food again but this time after the ride so stick around and enjoy the great food and fellowship and don't forget to thank the Martinezes for their servant hearts.

Summer Picnic

Its getting close to our annual summer picnic so mark June 10th on your calendars. It will be at Pickrell Park in Schertz again this year.  Danny Martinez will be grilling burgers and brats and we'll provide some chips and other side dishes as well. The picnic is always a great time of food and fellowship.  Bring you families but not your wallets – this one's on the club.

Devil's Backbone Ride

This ride has been packed away for a while but we blew the dust off, remapped it and are offering it on April 23rd.  It has something for everyone.  Those with the chops to take on some serious hills can get all they want on a 52 or 42 mile ride. Shoot – even the 24 will is so tough it earned the moniker “Lil Demon”.

Want to join us but don't want the hills? We have something for you too.  We'll start at Mountain Valley Mid School in Sattler and those wanting a flatter ride can do a 24 mile out and back down River Road. If you've never ridden that stretch now is the time to do it, before the tubers take it over for the summer.  Plan on attending it this time cause we won't have it on the docket again till next fall.

There are lots of other great rides on the calendar so check 'em out and come join us. The wildflowers are calling.

See you on the road,

Bill Blackford
