Further speakers announced for IAB Mobile Connect 2015

Last month we announced that Sarah Mansfield, the VP Global Media, Unilever is to headline IAB Mobile Connect.  Sarah is responsible for Global Media Operations with a total media spend of 1 billion euros.

European Programmatic Market increases 70.5% in 2014 

Research extends to include programmatic mobile and video both showing triple digit growth 

IAB Europe announced that the total programmatic display advertising market in Europe jumped 70.5% from €2.14bn in 2013 to €3.65bn in 2014. This year for the first time programmatic mobile and programmatic video figures are broken out. Programmatic mobile advertising revenue grew 240% to €552m in 2014 from €230m in 2013, now representing 27.3% of the mobile display market.

Programmatic video advertising grew 176% to €205m from €76m, representing 12.1% of the online video market. Programmatic desktop display is valued at €2.9bn. Read more >>

Suzanne McElligott joins the board of IAB Europe

Suzanne McElligott, CEO, IAB Ireland (pictured), has been appointed a director of the pan European trade organisation, IAB Europe. The IAB Europe board is composed of representatives of ten local IAB associations, reflecting the rich diversity of markets across Europe, and ten corporate members from different stakeholder groups of the digital advertising ecosystem. 

Commenting on her appointment Suzanne said ‘I am very much looking forward to collaborating with my IAB colleagues at board level in the very important work of IAB Europe across policy, standards and knowledge sharing.  As a very open market, Ireland has learnings to share and much to benefit from in the development of EU-wide standards across the digital advertising trading and measurement areas.’
