Chateau Lamartine Cahors 2016 is back in stock after selling out back in December. This was one of the quickest movers off The Wine Spectator’s Top 100 Wines of 2020, although 2020 is a year we would like to forget, Chateau Lamartine is not to be left in the past.
This traditionally made Cahors consists of 90% Malbec / 10% Merlot from forty year old vines. The vineyards are farmed organically with noninvasive practices. The wine is aged for 12-18 months in 70% cement tank / then 15% is transferred to large oak barrels and 15% to Bordeaux barrels for 2-4 months.
