Il Rose is a blend of equal parts Sangiovese and Prugnolo Gentile. The six hectare vineyard sits at about 300 meters above sea level and enjoys southern exposure. The wine has a salmon color, petal like with orange reflections. On the nose, aromas of sliced peaches, flowers, stones and chalk very complex with full body and round yet agile and dynamic intensity, salty, linear, energetic backbone of acidity, great structure and lovely finish.

Organic

Winemaking Notes:
Organic grapes harvested manually in small boxes, looking for the optimum moment of ripeness for each varieties, with the aim of achieving a base wine with good freshness suitable for noble ageing. Vinified on the estate. After a light skin maceration (contact of the must with the grape skin) to get the desired color, the grapes are pressed obtaining the first pressing must. The fermentation is carried out in stainless steel vats at 15ºC and afterwards the traditional method is applied with a minimum of 15 months ageing (from Reserva towards Gran Reserva) and is released on the market just after being disgorged with the disgorgement date stated on its label.

Light and subtle pink color characteristic of the variety, according to the characteristics of the vintage. Aging aromas with light hints of red grapes. Light and fresh on the palate, recalling the aromas of red fruit. Integrated bubbles and a delicate aftertaste.
