Since 2006, Broadside has crafted wines that embody the pioneering spirit of Paso Robles. Bold, expressive and distinct, whose wines are produced with intention and demonstrate their dedication to sustainable farming and winemaking. Every vintage they keep improving with their 2018 Cabernet Sauvignon really hitting the mark.
Located halfway between San Francisco and Los Angeles, Paso Robles is a vast region of rugged terrain and dramatic climate, with an unmistakable pioneering spirit. Maritime breezes and coastal fog roll in from the nearby Pacific Ocean, contributing to temperature swings up to 50 degrees between night and day. Ancient oak trees tower throughout the vineyards where a rare diversity of soil types cover the earth. These natural conditions create an ideal and unique place for winegrowing.
Award-winning winemaker Adam LaZarre joined the Broadside team in 2013. A Navy veteran who developed a love for wine while stationed overseas, Adam enrolled in the winemaking and viticulture program at Fresno State after finishing his military service. He has put Broadside on the map of great California wine values ever since.
