Forum on Research Addressing Global Water Crisis
 The Middle East Studies Center (MESC) hosts a forum for faculty to learn about funding opportunities for current and potential interdisciplinary research projects addressing the global water crisis and local water issues impacting the global crisis, Wednesday, September 4, 3:30-6:30 pm, 120 Mershon Center for International Security Studies. Comparative Studies Professor on German Radio
Nina Berman, professor, comparative studies, was interviewed by German radio station Mephisto 97.6 (Leipzig, Germany) on Karl May, a popular German writer whose late 19th century novels about North America and other areas of the world continue to be popular in Germany to this day.

Join Us on the Oval at the Student Involvement Fair
 The Arts and Sciences Communications Team is setting up a booth on the Oval for the Student Involvement Fair, Sunday, August 18, 4-8 pm to welcome our incoming students. We always appreciate extra help to staff the booth, answer questions, and hand out our ASC buttons, bags, and field guides.
