Dance meets Film: Dance@30FPS

The Department of Dance presents DANCE@30FPS, a vibrant program of new examples of the marriage of dance and film. Organized by Mitchell Rose, associate professor, this selection of award-winning shorts from around the world will be screened at 7 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 11 at the Wexner Center for the Arts’ Film/Video Theatre, 1871 N. High St. The event is free.

According to Rose, the films include shorts from Iceland, Japan, the U.S, U.K. and China. They include explorations of confined spaces, finding aesthetics in combat and home-grown films that have a connection to Ohio State.
