Letter from the Editors:

Besides the Autumn poets sing
A few prosaic days
A little this side of the snow
And that side of the Haze...
Grant me, Oh Lord, a sunny mind—
Thy windy will to bear!

Favorite Things

We Want.

We Love.

Gold 'n' Leaves

What's fall without a little foliage...dangling from your ears? We love these Almaz Gold Multi-Leaf Earrings from the female-empowering Raven and Lily. What makes them even more unique is they're crafted from melted down bullet casings and recycled metals making them stunning and sustainable.

My Yoga Body

If you think yoga's not for you because you don't have the "right body" for it, the 'This Is My Yoga Body' t-shirt campaign and message behind it are here to set you straight. Because yoga is for EVERY body and it's the mission of YogaDork and the Yoga and Body Image Coalition to help spread the word. Show your support and beautiful bod.

The 17 Percent

"Geena Davis confirms it sucks to be a woman in movies"; sadly enough, women are even more underrepresented on the silver screen than in the real world, and constantly seeing this imbalance starts to look normal. A new study from the Geena Davis Institute on Gender in Media found only 17% of people onscreen were female.

"[T]he co-founder of Comedy Central's "The Daily Show" on cable TV is decidedly psyched about Sept. 27, which (said) Lizz Winstead proudly declares the first annual "V to Shining V Day." The "V"s stand for both vagina and voting. What's better than that?

The Last Amazon: Wonder Woman Returns -- from The New Yorker.

What if you just don't know if you want kids? Great piece from Ann Friedman about women and having children.

Speaking of children, here are some pretty famous women who never had any and why.
