Ministry Of Supervision Course
The prairie conferences are currently discussing the possibility of sponsoring a Ministry of Supervision Course in the near future. The Ministry of Supervision course is a course for those interested in functioning as Educational Supervisors for students during their Supervised Ministry Experience aspect of their training toward ordination in the United Church of Canada. The course given on the prairies is a ten day residential format which includes relevant education and practise of the supervision model. It is open to both Ministry Personnel and lay people.
It was last offered in February, 2012 in St. Albert, Alberta and is being planned for Saskatoon, Saskatchewan for late January, early February, 2017. We will only proceed with the planning process if there are a sufficient number of persons interested in and available to take the course at this time. If you are interested in the possibility of taking the course in 2017, please email Judy Hare the Conference Personnel Minister by June 01, 2016 (Email: email@example.com).
If you have any questions about the course or the ministry of supervision opportunities within the conference, please do not hesitate to contact Judy as well.
